Why choose a SharpCYCLE™ solution?
SharpCYCLE™ containers are designed for safety. Comprised of high puncture-resistant material and featuring an automatic overfill prevention mechanism, SharpCYCLE™ containers exceed Australian Manufacturing Standards. The range is also available in sizes customised to point-of-use requirements, thereby eliminating any risk during transport of sharps to and from patients.
All SharpCYCLE™ container sizes are designed to fit one bracket, including most existing wall-mounting brackets and trolleys, facilitating easy interchange and servicing. In addition to an autofill indicator, the frosted lid allows visibility of sharps volume and, therefore, the remaining container capacity ahead of the required unit changeover time.
Med-X SharpCYCLE™ containers are made from polypropylene and are 100% recyclable when returned to/serviced by Med-X. Through our innovative SharpCYCLE™ process technology, used single-use sharps containers are decanted, separated from their contents, granulated and blow moulded into reusable plastic products.
Through the SharpCYCLE™ Recycling System, sharps container volumes going to landfill are expected to be reduced by over 28%.
